A new baby sure has a way of interrupting routine.
Not just for his slightly older siblings, but for his parents, too.
It is a welcome interruption.
But adjustments take time.
I might add that breastfeeding mother's truly are heroes (sheroes?)
Babies are powerful and demanding little creatures that control your life and your schedule...then again, so are 2 and 4 and 15 year olds.
It's totally worth it.
Even when they poop on your sheets in the middle of the night.
That fact doesn't make it any less frustrating in the moment.
But we are learning to cope and adjust.
We have some other stuff that I'll share soon that is pretty time demanding as well.
In the meantime, my posting might lag a bit.
And I have come to terms with that.
I will continue to write every day.
And I will update the blog when time allows.
It is worth mentioning, like my friend Joe Ferraro often does, every day is 2 words.
Don't forget it.
Joe will get angry.
There is however an exception that I haven't seen or heard Joe mention.
Anyhow, Joe hosts one of my favorite podcasts.
You should listen to it.
