Sunday Night Football
Updated: Nov 27, 2019
I'm a sports fan. Big surprise there.
I enjoy being a spectator of most any sport, thought playing is much more fun.
Since I became a family man, watching on TV has moved way down the priority list.
Sunday night's game between the Niners and the Packers was the first football game that has been on our TV all season.
I turned it on in hopes of watching an old friend carve up a Niners defense that everyone was raving about.
It didn't happen.
I turned the game off at halftime.
I had daddy duties to take tend to.
I might have watched a little more had it been a more competitive contest.
But it wasn't, and I didn't.
Aaron Rodgers didn't even have time to break wind.
Forget about breaking the line of scrimmage.
While the outcome wasn't the one I'd hoped to see, the Niners defense was impressive.
Joey Bosa is an animal.
I might get to watch another football game on Turkey Day.
After that, my next viewing experience likely won't occur until Super Bowl Sunday.
Funny how priorities change.
