Pushing Up: A New Approach

Yesterday, after 331 consecutive days, I took the day off. I skipped today too.
I was fully prepared to break the streak when baby time came around. For some reaon, I feel like I prioritized appropriately.
6/21/20 will begin a new pushup streak.
I intend to alter the routine a bit.
250 pushups every day for the rest of my life isn't my goal: 100 pushups in a row is.
Consistency in my routine is certainly a key element to that goal, but the way I've been doing it doesn't exactly allow my body the time it needs to recover. I've altered my strategies numerous times. Consistency hasn't been the issue, progress has.
So for the time being, I will do 250 every other day, and 100 on the days in between and see how that works.
