Alarm: 5AM. No Snooze. Day 1
Extreme Ownership (Jocko Willink & Leif Babin) is off to a good start. Isn't that a great book title? It's an even better concept.
Since I bought the book, the title has been burning in my thoughts and has already impacted my daily life, even before ever getting to the content.
Taking ownership has been something that my writing project has called on me to do. It wasn't necessarily why I started, but it has definitely been a big part of what has transpired.
Ownership is powerful. I'm not sure if I can be characterized as Extreme yet, but Jocko and Leif are giving me a crash course, and I think I'm well on my way.
Write things down.
Live what you learn.
Action is the key.
I know I touched on this yesterday; you must act. You must be willing to learn new things, but more importantly, you must be willing to act on what you have learned if you want the knowledge to impact your life or the lives of others.
Take ownership of your life so that when you get called on to lead others, you lead them in the right direction.
Effective leaders own EVERYTHING. Effective leaders win.
Impact. Encourage. Inspire.
