Day 87

6:16 PM
I'm finally on the back end of this brutal head cold and looking forward to getting back to my morning routine.
Yep, I said it, I'm looking forward to waking up at 5:30 AM. Still feels like a weird thing to say.
But I won't bore you with the details of my mornings. I do, however, feel much more productive these days.
My commitment to writing daily has made a profound impact on my life. It has revealed to me much about myself, and it has helped me to become far more intentional about the way I live my life on a daily basis. It's a powerful tool. You should try it sometime.
I'll leave you with a poem.
I sit and write to pass the time
To ease the pain of a troubled mind
Troubled and pained aren't the right words to use:
Rather, thoughts pondered; reflected; mused
Heretofore fleeting
Gone with the wind
They return forthwith to find me
When I sit down to write
And gather my pen
I leave all my troubles behind me
