Marcus Aurelius said, "Be tolerant with others and strict with yourself."
If you don't know who Marcus Aurelius was, make sometime to give yourself a history lesson.
Powerful words from a powerful man.
Shakespeare famously wrote, in Hamlet, "To thine own self be true..."
The first person you must answer to is yourself. Hold yourself accountable first to yourself. Lead a life that makes your own conscience proud. Then you might have the opportunity to impact the lives of others. Not by your words, but by your actions.
Practice what you preach, or so they say (there I go talking about THEY again).
Your words are empty if they are not reflected in your actions.
Lead by your actions so that others might know how to follow...and eventually lead in their own right.
