Today is Mother's Day, and I would like to honor all of the Mother's out there, especially my mother and my wife.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are irreplaceable.
Mothering is one of the most important jobs in existence. It is also one of the most difficult. I'm sorry for the grief I have caused in my time. I'm working on being a better human, and at this point in my life, it's pretty much up to me. So, again, thank you.
Mom, thank you for allowing me to live past my teenage years.
Sara, thank you for being a wonderful mother to our terrorist children, and thank you for putting up with me too. I know that neither of those tasks are a cakewalk.
Mother's are indispensable. Treat them that way. Maybe even let them know that more often than once a year.
Now it's off to get some Mother's Day goodies. Call it procrastinating if you must, but I like doing my Mother's Day getting and gifting in the morning. Get over it.
Happy Mother's Day
