I am writing this entry because I have made a commitment to spend time here everyday. I have no profound thoughts prepared so I'll spend ten minutes letting it flow. I haven't had any unique encounters that are noteworthy or thought inspiring over the past couple of days. In order to stick to my intended theme, I am more aware that there are going to be times that I am going to get to seek them out, which is great, because that will be slightly outside of my comfort zone. Another thing that I have committed to, and idea borrowed from Jeremy Sheetinger's interview on the One Percent Better Project, is scrolling through the contacts in my phone or email and sending at least two messages each day to someone I haven't communicated with in a while, for no reason other than to say hello and ask how life is. It has been something easy and painless, and I have had several opportunities to connect with old friends and former players that I haven't spoken to in years. I don't know if this entry brings value to anyone but me, and that is okay, but I am committed to self improvement, impacting positively the world I live in, and doing something different. The only way to achieve something incredible is to commit to it, and be disciplined enough to stick to it. Impact, Encourage, Inspire.
