I have been binge listening to a new podcast lately...new to me that is. It is called The Learning Leader Show and is hosted by Ryan Hawk. Also, it's pretty awesome.
Hawk interviews leaders from many walks of life.
Listening to these successful people tell their stories and discuss their processes has been a tremendous addition to my daily commute. And my book list continues to grow at a rate that I am unable to keep up with, and that's exactly the way I like it.
Already, I've heard plenty of noteworthy, actionable pieces of advice, and I particularly enjoy hearing the different responses when Hawk asks his guests to define what the term, learning leader, means to them.
I am through episode 31, and with 333 recorded episodes to date, I have a lot of listening in my future.
In episode 31, Hawk interviewed Gary Vaynerchuk. While many of the guests have had tremendous things to say, Vaynerchuk said something very powerful that is valid across any context.
"The truth is undefeated."
I've never heard it put that way, and I think it is about as perfectly stated as possible, so that's all I have to say about that.
So, if you have a desire to sharpen your leadership skills, if you are looking for some inspiration, or if you simply want to be entertained by intelligent and successful people, queue up The Learning Leader Show with Ryan Hawk, and enjoy.
