Every Monday, I see and hear a handful of comments about this particular day of the week. Many of them are complaining about its arrival like it is the Ugly Duckling, and the rest of them are telling the complainers to stop complaining.
I'm in a unique position. Most weeks, I get to work at least a little bit on each of the 7 days of the week, so the days all kind of run together.
Every day is just another day: another day that I'm thankful to still be breathing, thankful to have a family that loves me, thankful that I have a job that I enjoy, thankful that I have the opportunity to impact the lives of others, thankful that I get to go out and discover something new, thankful for each and every blessing God has bestowed upon me and my loved ones.
Each day is a blessing. I think it's crazy that Monday gets such a bad rap.
And certainly don't tell Lawrence from the movie Office Space that it looks like somebody has a case of the Mondays.
Today is an opportunity to live a fuller life.
Look for the positives.
Complaining is easy;
even when things are good,
the complainer can find something to complain about.
Find a positive, even when the situation is bleak.
It might be a tougher endeavor, but if you look hard enough, you can find it.
Be the light in the darkness. Watch your ugly duckling transform into a swan.
Make a positive Impact.
Encourage others to do the same.
Inspire them to take action.
