I really loved this morning's message from the FCA Daily Impact Play.
Listen more. Listen better.
Speak less. Say more. When you do speak, speak words that bring value to those who are listening.
Control your reactions. React with patience. React with grace. React with humility. Anger has it's place, and it is sometimes necessary and warranted. But more often than not, anger occurs because patience, grace, and humility are missing.
The right way is the right way. Who gets the credit is insignificant.
Listen, learn, reflect, discern.
Allow yourself the opportunity to experience life. That is how wisdom is acquired. Who knows, I might even have some someday.
"My dearly beloved brothers, understand this: everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger."
"A truly wise person uses few words; a person with understanding is even-tempered."
"Fools think their own way is right, but the wise listen to others."
