New pen. Got some roller ball fine point pens. They don't smear like a gel pen, and they don't bleed like a felt tip, and they aren't stupid like the silver metal Zebra ball points. Don't buy those. Or do, if you want a stupid pen that doesn't work.
I have to admit, I am at times enamored with stupidity. I'm not talking about ignorance, I'm talking about pure stupidity. It amuses me. I don't know if that makes me a bad person.
Stupidity is an important fact of life, and it provides great examples from which others people have learned (oops, there I go again with the preposition thing).
Even Einstein was an observer of stupidity (though as far as Einstein quotes go, who knows which are correctly attributed):
"The difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits."
"Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity. ...and I'm not so sure about the former."
The majority of the stupid is invincible and guaranteed for all time."
And then there was Forrest Gump:
"Stupid is as stupid does." (whatever that means)
My mother and I have gone back and forth on this topic over the years, and she sends me quotes when she finds them. I have no idea who said this one, but it has stuck with me:
"God must love stupid people, because he made so many of them."
I hope I'm not stupid. If I am...I guess I think that's funny. And I know I am loved by God, so that's good.
Stupidity is funny, and kind of an endearing quality in some (Forrest Gump). Learn from it. Laugh at it. Get over it. Life is too short and too precious to let stupidity get in the way.
PS This pen is so much better (Pilot Precise V5 Rolling Ball Extra Fine (.5mm)) $5 for a 3 pack.
I am willing to consider endorsement deals.
