I've been sitting on my chair on the back porch for about something to write about. Several things came to mind, but nothing was particularly moving...speaking of moving, Hope pooped in the bath tonight...that was fun...moving on. I enjoy sitting out here sometimes watching the airplanes fly by, but when the time comes to find a new place to live, I won't be disappointed if we live farther away from an international airport. It can get loud around here from time to time. When the noise of the last 747 subsides, you can hear the birds chirping in the trees and the squirrels making whatever you call the sound a squirrel makes (Google can't even give me a straight answer when asked what to call squirrel noises). And then 30 seconds later, another airplane.
There is a refreshing breeze tonight that brings much appreciated relief from the sweat box our house turns into on a hot summer day. While it would be quite nice to have a functioning AC, the thought of what our electricity bill would look like during the summer months if there was an AC running all the time is terrifying.
I've been out of my routine for a few days. Time to start dragging my butt out of bed early again and get back on track.
In other news, I've continued doing 250 push-ups a day in Grandpa's honor (Day 140) for 10 days now, and I've been more disciplined with my food consumption. Some combination of those two things have led to me dropping 7 pounds in the process, so that's cool.
I'm missing out on reading time with Ace at the moment, so I'm done rambling. I'll be back at it again at 5AM tomorrow.
Thanks for taking a couple of minutes to read this jumbled collection of nonsense.
