It's easy to confuse being productive with being busy.

It's easy to use busy as an excuse

Being busy might even be laziness in disguise.

I enjoyed reading Alain de Botton's thoughts on this topic.

When are we truly productive?

Sometimes, stopping to smell the roses

or taking some time to sit and stare out the window

might be the most productive way to spend our existence.
