12 Months to $1 Million
Updated: Feb 10
If you've never made a million bucks before, and you think you might want to, this book, by Ryan Daniel Moran seems like a good place to start.
12 months to a million bucks.
That would be fun.
While I am not exactly in the target market for this particular book (at least not yet), 12 Months to $1 Million is as engaging a read as any book I've picked up in the past couple of years. It's probably a book that most entrepreneurs should take a look at.
Target market or not, there was plenty of material in there that will help me in my business.
A few of the quotes that hit home to me:
"Extraordinary results do not come from big wins, they come from incremental steps forward that compound overtime."
"It is who you become through the pursuit that ultimately makes this all worth it."
"The minute you give rather than ask for something, you stand out from the crowd. Most people are ask-holes...Don't be an ask-hole."
"Happiness is found in your relationships, how you spend your time, and the small things that you enjoy. Money expands your menu of options."
"If you trade happiness for money, you'll end up losing both."
Personally, I want to help people. I want to make a difference. I want to be happy. I want to be free. I want to provide well for my family. And, while I know that money is merely a tool that can help supplement all of the above, I sure would love to have enough money that we didn't have to worry about money anymore. There are certain things that I am not willing to sacrifice to get it but that won't stop me from figuring out how it's done.
I really enjoyed reading this book.
There is a lot of wisdom within its pages.
It's about so much more than making money.
But it can help you with that, too.
If, of course, you are willing to do the work.
There is a seat at the table for everyone.
